How can yoga benefit kids?

BabyPrana is more than a yoga studio — it’s a nurturing space where children connect with their bodies, minds, and inner potential through the transformative practice of yoga.

Start them young.

Meet Dr. Shraddha Bhatia

Owner - Babyprana.

Hi, I am a board-certified physical therapist, avid athlete, yogi and fellow mom.

Start them young

I discovered yoga in my late teens while growing up in Bombay, India.

Yoga to me is not simply about asanas. Yoga is a way of life. Everything from what we eat, to how we navigate tough emotions, to how we exercise, how we allay illnesses can be influenced by the science of yoga.

Learning that, opened my eyes to the power of my body.

I chanced upon baby yoga through dumb luck as a way of trying to tire my toddler before bed. Some days we tried silly animal poses, other days we practiced breathing techniques and on some days I used yogic principles to teach her emotional regulation.

My heart lit up every time she retained information, recreated it and applied it to her real world.

I want to now share this world with you and your children and watch them grow to understand, love and respect their body and mind.

It is purely out of passion for yoga that I embark upon this journey with you and your family.

Start them young.
